It has a small GUI, a little dated simply by the size, but due to simplicity it won't matter unless using a very high res monitor such as a 4k model. However it simply sounds good so this will appeal to people and times when you don't want options, you just want a sound that you know. However you can cycle through them in the Reaper preset/patch window with the mouse wheel, unlike Valhalla. It also has far less patches/presets than any of the Valhalla reverbs. TSAR1R is far less adjustable in terms of settings. I will be demoing tsar when i get the chance. I already have valhalla room so would be interested in how it compares to that if possible. I know it's early days but how does it compare/differ to Valhalla in your opinion. No doubt others will have iLok already on their systems, know the procedure and think I'm whinging about nothing.Īfter all that palaver with installation I'm glad it sounds good.

Valhalla has a better user interface (though this is extremely simple) and is infinitely less difficult to install that's for sure. I can recommend it even if you have all the Valhalla plugins or similar because it is different sounding reverb again. I'm almost annoyed it sounds good, as I was tempted to uninstall it and write it off.

Melda Production is going to be running a 50% sale on all their plugs starting on Black Friday and running through the end of the following monday, European time (does Europe only have one time zone? Because that's what it said in the e-mail, just "European time," so if it's not accurate enough it's their fault, not mine, I don't live in Europe). Let's deposit any info of that sort here, so somebody who's wanted a certain plug or piece of gear but couldn't afford it may find it within their grubby grasp, or somebody holding back because of familial or financial responsibility can rightly punch that crap in the face and just quit being such a damn pussy already. Know of any crazy plug-in 90% discounts and where? Online stores blowing out tube amps at half price?
